Beginner Stained Glass Class: Tuesday 02.10.26
Tuesday evenings 6pm-9pm.
This six-evening beginner course introduces you to the essential skills and techniques of stained-glass craftsmanship. You’ll complete one project over the six weeks, selecting from three beginner-friendly glass designs. With expert, hands-on instruction, you’ll build confidence while learning both the art and science behind stained glass.
Throughout the course, you’ll learn how to:
- Safely score, break, and shape glass
- Grind and refine pieces for a perfect fit
- Apply copper foil and prepare seams
- Solder clean, strong lines
- Finish your project with patina and professional polishing
- Use shop tools with confidence and proper technique
Students will work with in-shop equipment, including grossing pliers, running pliers, a soldering iron, grinder, fume extractor, copper and black patina, polishing compound, and glass cleaner.
Beginner Students: The Glass Kickstart Kit is required. Purchase it at your first class or add it during online registration and save 15% when you pre-pay at checkout.
