Tempered Glass

Tempered glass is stronger and safer than regular glass. It's created through a thermal tempering process that enhances its strength and changes its structure, causing it to break into small, rounded pieces rather than sharp fragments.

Benefits of Tempered Glass:

  • Reduces the risk of injury from sharp edges
  • Improves safety in high-impact areas
  • Recommended for showers, backsplashes, and tabletops

Glass Edge Finish Options

Polished Edge

Our most popular finish, polished edges are sanded and polished to a satiny smooth, glossy finish. This modern look highlights the glass thickness and adds a touch of sophistication to your living space.

Ideal for:

Showcasing glass thickness, Modern decor, Visible edges

Seamed Edge

A safe and economical option, seamed edges are sanded to remove rough edges. This finish is suited for framing and is recommended when the edge will be completely covered.

Suitable for:

Framing, Hidden edges, Budget-friendly option

Not recommended for:

Glass Protector Tops, Table tops, Shelves, Visible edges

Beveled Edge

Add a touch of elegance with our beveled edge finish. Angled at 45 degrees, this edge treatment creates a smooth, slanted finish and a reflective surface.

Perfect for:

Mirrors, Glass tabletops, Decorative glass items, High-end decor

1/32’’ Eased Corner Finish

For enhanced safety, each corner is slightly polished to eliminate sharp edges. This technique, often referred to as a "blunt edge," is also known as "clipped," "tips off," or "points off."

Radius Corner Finish

This finish involves rounding the corners of the glass to create a smooth, polished edge. The term "corner radius" specifies how rounded the corners are on a rectangular glass cut, corresponding to the radius of the circle formed by the corner arc. Rounded corners are available with radii of up to 4 inches for a safer, more refined appearance.
